On Friday, December 12, 2014, Nashville’s favorite sing-along bus tour, the Music City Rollin’ Jamboree, rolled through the streets of Nashville with some very precious cargo. Known for the night as the Jingle Strong Jamboree, Jenny and Jessie played host to some of the Nashville- area’s greatest kids and their families, who have been made stronger by surviving bullying and are now in a place to help other kids in the same position.

The bus was bursting with excitement and encouragement as the kids sang Christmas songs along with the girls and resident musician, Devon. With the party already in high gear, Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire jumped on the bus to surprise everyone and join in the singing, which brought the tour to a frenzy.

The Jingle Strong Jamboree ended at the Thistle Stop Café for a private concert, where the kids and their families were treated to food, new friendships and more music from Kelly, Reba and Devon. They were then surprised by the Nashville Film Festival’s executive director, Ted Crockett, who revealed that a short documentary of the evening will be shown at the 2015 Nashville Film Festival and that they would be invited to walk the red carpet. To round out the evening, Reba and Kelly took the time to individually meet each amazing kid and offer their encouragement.

“I had a wonderful time on the Jamboree’s magic bus and Thistle Farms last week. Getting to see the smiles on those children’s faces warmed my heart. So blessed to be a part of such a special event.”

–  Reba McEntire

“Joining the kids for the Jingle Strong Jamboree was truly something special. It made my heart happy to be singing and laughing with everybody.”

–  Kelly Clarkson

“It was a night we will never forget with a group of amazing kids and a couple of the best vocalists in the world. The fact that Reba and Kelly kept asking what more they could do to make the night special is a testament to what great hearts they have. When we started this bus, we both wanted it to be a very special thing where people would create memories that would last a lifetime. The night of the Jingle Strong Jamboree, by watching those sweet kids, we realized they had made memories for us. We’ll never forget how each of those kids made us feel. We will never be able to thank Reba and Kelly enough for creating an unforgettable Christmas for our new friends and family.”
